In photography there are rules that make a great photograph. You are supposed to say something with the click of the shutter button. However, sometimes I am out in the world and see a part of the earth that is so beautiful and inspiring. I don't want to change it. I want to display it how I saw it in it's raw and non-manipulated state. Many of my nature shots are just that. They are portrayed as I have viewed the world through my camera lens.

The following prints were all taken at Wheeler Farm. I don't know why I am drawn to the antiquity of farm life. Maybe it's the desire to live simply or the conservatism of my ancestoral heritage that lures me into an age long gone and unnoticed by most of humanity.
Can anyone go to the Ocean and not relish the peace that comes through the sound of mighty waters? .It's almost an irony that we associate the continuously changing motion of waves with power, majesty, peace and tranquility. What is so stable about the seas? Why is humanity so drawn to the ocean? Maybe it's the mystery of the unknown. What world lies beneath the waves?
